“Stop Celebrating Your Job-Search Misery” | #MyPost on @Jobbermandotcom

The last couple of weeks has been hectic for me at work, hopping between deadlines, doing what I love doing best – solving client staffing problem/needs by helping them fill vacant positions.

In hindsight, looking at the candidates who aced the interviews and got hired, as well as those who didn’t; I discovered a common trait that was very instrumental to their success, and I’ll share with you today.

Recently, I listened to a friend’s podcast and the idea shared was a reinforcement of this trait. He said “Many carry themselves around like bad news, calling attention to themselves and often throw a ‘pity party’ in celebration of every failure in their lives. If you always go around with your failures, then you attract more of failure. What you celebrate is what you would experience! Constantly look for success in your life and celebrate them. Carry yourself with pride ‘As a man thinketh in his heart so is he”.

Deep insight you would say right?

The above is an excerpt from my post on Jobberman.com Blog titled “Stop Celebrating Your Job-Search Misery” which was published earlier this week. Go read it now and let me have your feedback. Read it here…
