Have You Learnt Something New Today?

Always walk through life as if you have something new to learn and you will.  ~ Vernon Howard

While I was mediating on an anchor for today’s post, the above quote saved my day! Of a truth, life is a learning in progress. There is always something new to learn just by been alive. How conscious are you of this fact?

All the world is a laboratory to the inquiring mind.  ~ Martin H. Fischer

Yeah! The fact that you must be in a constant state of learning, mind inquiry to know more and act on the knowledge learnt. It is not enough to be learning things you would not act upon. The main purpose of learning is for growth!

The purpose of learning is growth, and our minds, unlike our bodies, can continue growing as we continue to live.  ~ Mortimer Adler

Recently I tweeted that “the more you learn, the more you would earn”. And Brian Tracy in his classic book “No Excuses!” corroborated my tweet with the below words:

You are your most valuable asset. Your life, your potential, and your possibilities are the most precious things you have. Thus your great goal in life should be to fulfill that potential and become everything you are capable of becoming.

Your ability to learn, grow, and fulfill your potential is unlimited… Your ability to learn and remember can continue throughout your life if you keep your brain alive, alert, and functioning at its best.

Your most precious financial asset is your earning ability… Every bit of education, experience, and hard work that you have invested in learning your craft and developing your skills has gone into building this asset.

So real words, I guess. But, many a time we do not realize this. Some time back I posted on “Constant And Never-ending Improvement – CANI” credited to Anthony Robbins. I believe, you cannot do without constant learning for you to keep alive!

Each day learn something new, and just as important, relearn something old.  ~Robert Brault

  1. Nice post Mr Segun, a closed mind is a terrible thing and when we learn it pays our community more when we make efforts to apply what we learn. Love your post
